Adam Kuchta

Adam Kuchta is an accomplished pianist with a knack for improvisation. He began playing piano in 1998 and taught himself blues, jazz, pop, and rock piano in just three years. In 2004, Adam acquired an accordion from his father’s attic and began playing jazz and rock accordion on occasion.

His jazz studies continued into college and flourished under the instruction of acclaimed Charlottesville musician John D’Eearth. His style is influenced by Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, Rick Wright and Kyle Hollingsworth.

Adam has a degree in Physics and currently teaches middle school physical science.

He plays anything with black and white keys, but currently uses Yamaha keyboards and a Wurlitzer organ.
